Deposit Payment

Application Procedure

  1. Complete the National Jamboree Registration on the national website -
  2. Complete the W. D. Boyce Jamboree Contingent Deposit payment
  3. Submit a signed copy of the 2021 Jamboree Policies and Expectations with Parent/Guardian, Scouts, and Unit Leader signatures (this form will be emailed to you after your deposit is paid). 

Fees and Refund Policy

The total  fee for the W. D. Boyce Council Scouts ad Leaders is estimated to be $1,700.  This includes expenses for the National fee, pre-jamboree training, transportation to and from the Jamboree, allowances for food at stops during travel, equipment, and local council costs.  Fees are due according to the following schedule and are cumulative:

  • $200 Deposit
  • $375 by June 1, 2020
  • $375 by September 1, 2020
  • $375 by January 1, 2021
  • $375 or remaining balance by April 1, 2021

The Deposit may be paid online by completing this Deposit Payment.  The rest of the payments are to be made by Check or Cash at either Service Center in Peoria or Bloomington.   

If an applicant is approved and finds that he/she cannot attend, the applicant will receive a refund only if the Council has a qualified alternate in accordance with the W. D. Boyce Council refund policy and request form, which can be found here.  

Youth Participant Qualifications

  • Scouts must have a current BSA membership with a Scout BSA Troop or Venturing Crew. 
  • Must be at least 12 years of age by the first date of the Jamboree (July 21, 2021) but has not reached their 18th birthday by the last day of the Jamboree (July 30, 2021)
  • Be approved by the unit leader and local council. 
  • Must have appropriate parent/guardian to complete the online parent consent. (An email will be sent to the parent/guardian during the application process)
  • Participate in pre-Jamboree training experience with local council and unit leader. 
  • Submitted BSA Annual Health & Medical Record using the on-line Jamboree submission process.  The AHMR must be dated on or after July 1, 2020.
  • Submit all registrations fees per the local council payment schedule.
